To assist first responders, helping professionals and caregivers with overcoming the negative and traumatic effects of post-traumatic stress disorder, stress induced injuries/illnesses, suicidal ideation and suicide brought on by compassion fatigue, vicarious trauma, chronic stress and burnout by utilizing an integrated psycho-social-spiritual method of counseling in a safe and confidential environment
To establish the Beth-El conferences and retreat centers where churches, public and private organizations and individuals may engage in respite, retreat opportunities and aftercare treatment through counseling as needed.
H.L.F. Int'l Ministries provides conferences, workshops and retreats employing biblical principles and cognitive behavioral therapy (CCBT - Christian Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) in an effort to dismantle negative thinking patterns that lead to negative behaviors and life style choices. Examples are low self esteem, self hatred, un-forgiveness, regret, apathy and suicide. We provide small group discussion and 1:1 care aimed at empowering the individual to cast down and replace negative thoughts and behaviors with healthy ones. This is done by balancing Gods Word with thoughts, feelings and emotions. A heavy portion of discussion surrounds how un-forgiveness of God, self and others (a stress reaction) is associated with psychological, physiological, behavioral and social paths. After care services are provided by HLF Christian Counseling, Inc., Pastor Tracci Parham, MAPC, who is certified in crisis and trauma care, marriage, family, ADHD, anxiety and depression.
We recognize that to truly see and help the wounded and broken, we must be able to see and help ourselves. With a spirit of humility and strength, the H.L.F. team shall boldly move forward as we accept the challenge of restoring the helper and creating the H.L.F. ambassador through the power of God! Going forward, our HLF Ambassadors will make an indelible mark in their homes, communities, schools, and workplaces by partnering with H.L.F. to continue impacting lives through this healing and restorative God given initiative.
