MISSION

To assist first responders, helping professionals and caregivers with overcoming the negative and traumatic effects of post-traumatic stress disorder, stress induced injuries/illnesses, suicidal ideation and suicide brought on by compassion fatigue, vicarious trauma, chronic stress and burnout by utilizing an integrated psycho-social-spiritual method of counseling in a safe and confidential environment

VISION

To establish the Beth-El conferences and retreat centers where churches, public and private organizations and individuals may engage in respite and retreat opportunities and aftercare treatment through counseling as needed.

HOW

Through a series of discussions, teachings, workshops, seminars and practical application scenarios, the H.L.F. team shall endeavor to enable the ‘people who help people’ to reconnect with themselves in ways that enhance self-love, self-awareness, and self-acceptance. Through this process the H.L.F. team will provide education relative to chronic stress management and how to eliminate stress induced illnesses and injuries by assisting the participant with beginning their individual journey toward wholeness.

WHY

We recognize that to truly see and help the wounded and broken, we must be able to see and help ourselves. With a spirit of humility and strength, the H.L.F. team shall boldly move forward as we accept the challenge of restoring the helper and creating the H.L.F. ambassador through the power of God! Going forward, our HLF Ambassadors will make an indelible mark in their homes, communities, schools, and workplaces by partnering with H.L.F. to continue impacting lives through this healing and restorative God given initiative.
